About Andrea Martos

My name is Andrea Martos, known on Instagram as @feetback.podologa . Since I finished my degree in Podiatry, I knew there was much more to the foot than I had learned, beyond its structure and function. That's why I started the Master's in Clinical Posturology, where I learned how the foot connects to the rest of the body through the nervous system, since the sole of the foot is rich in sensory receptors.

This opened up a world for me that was difficult to understand without understanding the holistic nature and interrelationship of body posture in all its parts, so I began my four-year degree in osteopathy. Throughout these academic years, I continued to specialize in pediatrics, both in the fields of podiatry and osteopathy, which is where most of my practice now resides. I also enjoy seeing adults.

Today, barefoot and barefoot shoes is for me an indirect way of teaching families the importance of caring for and simulating bare feet, for all the benefits this entails, with the goal of developing healthy, strong, and agile feet, but always with common sense, self-knowledge, and scientific evidence.
